U.S. Secretary of state Mike Pompeo named former presidential adviser on security John Bolton is a traitor. This is stated in his written statement, RIA Novosti reported.
Pompeo admitted that the book of Bolton did not read, however, expressed the opinion that the author of it spreading false claims and “stretched-truths and outright fabrications”. According to him, the former Advisor had abused the trust of the American people, than caused damage to the country.
“to Our friends around the world, I want to say: you know, America President trump is a force for good”, concluded the Secretary of state.
Earlier, the President of the United States Donald trump also said that the new book by his former assistant — a collection of lies. According to him, many of the statements which he attributes to Bolton, never been done.
Publication of excerpts of the memoirs of the former US presidential Advisor on national security is concerned by the intelligence community of the country. In addition to information on trump cooperation with China, Bolton also revealed that the head of state asked about whether Finland is part of Russia, and did not know that the UK is a nuclear power.
