According to the results, “Gazprom” was charged with violation of the Antimonopoly legislation of Poland. From the point of view of the Polish regulator, Gazprom had to agree with Management a deal with European partners (OMV, Wintershall, Shell, Uniper and Engie) on the construction of “Nord stream-2,” since the implementation of the project may lead to restriction of competition. Similar charges were brought against the European partners “Gazprom”.
At the beginning of 2020, the Polish regulator demanded from the Russian company to send him documents in the case, including contracts signed with firms financing construction of the “Nord stream-2”.
