Polish Commission for re-investigation of the crash of Tu-154 of Polish President Lech Kaczynski claims that the TNT explosion which was allegedly the cause of the crash, the plane “was laid during repairs in Russia.”
The Tu-154 Kaczynski on 10 April 2010 crashed while landing at the airport “Smolensk – North”. Onboard there were 96 persons: 88 passengers and eight crew members flying at the mourning events in Katyn. They all died. The interstate aviation Committee in 2011 issued a final report on the results of technical investigation according to which the immediate cause of the crash is recognized as the crew’s decision not to leave on spare airdrome, and the system reasons – deficiencies in flight operations and crew training.
First Polish Commission headed by former interior Minister Jerzy Miller came to similar conclusions, describing the cause of the disaster reduction below the legal minimum of the presidential plane that went to land despite thick fog. However, the current government of Poland did not agree with the report of the IAC and the Commission’s conclusions of Miller and made a decision on the establishment of a second Commission.
A new Commission under the leadership of former Minister of defence of Poland, Anthony Macarevich on July 31 issued an interim report on progress over several years work. The report reaffirms that the cause of the crash was allegedly the explosion, because “such damage (an airplane) could not be reached” only as a result of collision with the earth. “This contradicts the whole very extensive evidential material and results of a very large number of experiments and analyses”, the report says.
The Commission also argues that the presence of traces of explosive substances on Board of TNT, PETN and RDX (cyclonite) – supposedly confirmed by Polish and British laboratories where research conducted. In addition, otmechaetsya that traces of explosives allegedly found in samples taken “from the parts of the aircraft, which Russian military equipment has been changed during repair of the aircraft Tu-154 No. 101 (Kaczynski) and the Tu-154 No. 102 (one belonging to Poland, the plane) in 2009”, reports RIA “Novosti”.
“In this case, the lab in Oregon (USA) revealed the presence of TNT. It should be noted that this was the part that no one whirled in addition to repairmen, and traces of TNT were found inside it,” says the Commission.
That the cause of the crash was allegedly an explosion, say in Warsaw in 2016. To search for traces of explosives carried out the exhumation of the bodies, including Kaczynski. A number of Polish experts said that the autopsy does not confirm the version about the explosion on Board the aircraft.
