The Deputy of the state Duma Natalia Poklonskaya said that the Kiev authorities should hold a referendum and ask the Ukrainians, whether they support Russian choice of the Crimean people. According to her, residents are unlikely to approve “the harassment to the hackneyed song” about the “occupation” of the Peninsula.
Ukraine needs to build the future, taking account of choice of the Crimean people and the Russian status of Crimea Poklonskaya said in an interview with RIA Novosti. She said that Ukrainians are tired to feed politicians who can do sixth year in a row with sad eyes to talk about “occupation”.
I’m Sure if the people of Ukraine were asked: “do they support endless political “plach yaroslavny” and cut the budget for “de-occupation” of the Crimea?” — the answer would be negative, said Poklonski.
The MP added that ordinary people in Ukraine are much wiser and braver than politicians, so if such referendum is held, they will advocate the development and strengthening of the country.
Earlier NEWS.ru reported that Natalia Polonskaya urged not to make predictions about the collapse of Ukraine, in order not to add fuel to the fire in the already tense Russian-Ukrainian relations. So she commented on the forecast of Senator Vladimir dzhabarov that the Ukraine can leave Odessa, Kherson, Nikolaev and Zaporozhye. She also added that it did not support the opinion of colleagues.
