Scientific Director of the hydrometeorological center of Russia Roman Vilfand warned of a sharp cold snap in parts of the Russian regions.
“Tomorrow in Karelia projected 23-28 degrees, and in the medium above 20. In the Vologda region on Monday, 21-26, and on Wednesday – plus 17-20, a similar situation in the Novgorod region. More likely colder in the Kaliningrad region. There are now 25-30 and Wednesday will be 17-18, 10 degrees below. All of this relates to the Tver region and Smolensk, and Moscow. Such a sharp drop will affect the Western part of European Russia”, – quotes Vilfand RIA “Novosti”.
Cold happens due to the air masses from the North Atlantic.
