She explained that the testing will be organized by the Ministry of communications with the participation of the CEC, while technical support will be carried out by “Rostelecom”.
Testing, she said, is conducted on the target e-government infrastructure. Ella Pamfilova invited all interested persons to participate in this process.
CEC Head also said that on the issue of the remote electronic voting a lot of speculation. She recalled that at the September election, this mechanism will be studied in the experiment. “We were very careful going in this direction,” – said Pamfilova. However, the General possibility of such a vote is a response to the request of the society, said the CEC head.
Recall that the Central election Commission decided to hold remote e-voting from 11 to 13 September on the election of deputies of the state Duma in Kursk and Yaroslavl regions. Convenient for the citizens of the mechanism previously tested in the elections to the Moscow city Duma, as well as during the national vote on the Constitution. Now the experiment will take place in the Duma elections, explained earlier in the CEC.
