In 2018, the German national goalkeeper Bernd Leno switched to FC Arsenal and established himself as the regular keeper. In the past season, however, he was only used in four games, and a change is now becoming more and more likely.

Leno is bitter: Bernd Leno will probably leave Arsenal in the summer. The Dailystar reports that the 30-year-old goalkeeper is “bitter” after he is no longer the Gunners’ number one goalkeeper. “It was a setback. But that’s the sport, you have to accept that. It wasn’t easy, but I couldn’t feel sorry for myself, I wanted to attack again immediately,” says Leno.

Short, compact, clear

Leno’s manager with a clear opinion: For his agent Joannis Koukoutrigas, Leno is still number one in goal. “He is the German national goalkeeper, has always performed well at Arsenal and is an absolute team player. For me personally, Bernd is also the clear No. 1 at Arsenal. With all due respect to the competition,” he says.

Interest from Fulham: Although the goalkeeper has 12 months left on his contract in north London, he is expected to leave the club in the coming months. He is not short of potential buyers, especially promoted Fulham is trying hard to attract the German national player.
