Doctor of medical Sciences, Professor Anatoly Altstein in an interview with the Fifth channel spoke about the sometimes forgotten method of distribution of coronavirus infection.
The expert explained that COVID-19 can be transmitted through hair. To avoid danger, a virologist recommends wearing a hat. Thus, according to him, the hair on the virus can stay up to three days.
"Can (to get to the hair. — Approx. ed.). Can hold, of course, a day, two, three. Therefore, it is recommended to wear headgear. Hair well kept, and the headpiece you shoot, when you come home," said Altstein.
The physician recalled that the Russians should wear masks on the street, and in sparsely populated areas they may be limited social distance of a few meters.
In addition, the virologist said that the threat of coronavirus infection is maintained not only in the big cities. Outside the major settlements are also places where a lot of people, from which there is a possibility of infection.
According to the latest figures, Russia has registered about 177 thousand cases COVID-19, more than 1,600 people died, about 23 thousand cured.
