To talk about the opening of borders and resumption of tourist trips even within the country is premature, said honored doctor of Russia, member of the Federation Council Committee on social policy Tatiana Kusano.
“I don’t think now we can talk about the resumption of travel”, she said “the parliamentary newspaper”.

Kusano agreed that the tourism industry needs support, but noted that the opening of the tourist season is only possible in the absence of risk of infection.
“In the first place should be the health of citizens. If organized widespread testing if they met all of the requirements of the CPS — then we can talk about the opening of the tourist season,” said Kusano.
She recalled that the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova, speaking with a report on three stages of the lifting of restrictions, did not mention anything about the opening of the tourist season.
“That’s when the CPS say that we are ready to open the borders — then it will be possible”, – said the Senator.
According to her, this will be possible after the third stage of restrictions.
