In Moscow and the Moscow region on the weekend, July 9 and 10, hot weather is expected to reach 30 degrees, new showers with thunderstorms may also pass. Tatiana Pozdnyakova, a leading specialist of the Meteonovosti news agency, warned about this. Her words are quoted by Izvestia.
The forecaster noted that on July 9 the temperature will be comfortable, but after 15:00 showers with thunderstorms are possible.
“It will be cloudy and cloudy on Sunday, but the maximum air temperature will be plus 28-30 degrees. During the day, the wind speed will not exceed 5-10 meters per second,” she said and added that in the evening of July 9, the wind may increase to 12-15 meters per second.
On July 7, heavy rains hit the capital region. The raging elements toppled trees and flooded the streets. Casualties were also reported.
