Several municipalities in Northern Norway is considering to extend the so-called “søringkaranten”. Vardø will allow it to apply to the next 50 years.
– This is something we’ve thought for a long time, and it really has not so much with koronaviruset to do, ” says mayor Ørjan Jensen.
He believes that the Northern Norway always has known how vulnerable they are to the impulses from the outside, but don’t like the term søringkarantene.
– This is not a rule that is aimed at søringer. Everyone who comes to the municipality in a suit and tie must sit 14 days in quarantine.
Careful with the use of dress
the Purpose is that no one should come into the municipality with reports showing that the railway is not paying off, or get into to stop the OLYMPIC applications.
– We ask otherwise our citizens be careful with the use of the dress the next 50 years. Konfirmanter should be allowed, but otherwise one must think carefully about whether it really is necessary to go in a suit. For example, when you get married.
Affects most søringer
Værøy municipality in Lofoten has introduced karantenebestemmelser for people who have been in direct contact with the Tesla, or has stayed in the same garage.
It is clear that this is a rule that affects many søringer, admits the mayor mayor Susan Berg Kristiansen.
– But this is really about that we in the north need to drop to relate to the rest of the community. No one should come here and decide. Not even those who decide.
