Another World War II bomb has been defused in Cologne.
After the five hundredweight bomb was found in Porz-Zündorf at midday, the all-clear was given in the evening, the city of Cologne said on Tuesday evening. According to the information, 2,600 people had to leave their houses and apartments.
The day before, a World War II bomb had been found and defused at the Heumar motorway junction. Motorways 3 and 4 as well as some streets were closed because of this.
