MOSCOW, 14 APR – RIA Novosti. The Commissioner for human rights in the Russian Federation Tatiana Moskalkova recommends the Russian government to amend the legislation prohibiting the expulsion of aliens to a country where they face a threat, follows from the annual report on the activities of the Commissioner for human rights in the Russian Federation in 2019.
According to Moskalkova, the ECHR in its judgments has repeatedly pointed out that the government is taking the decision on expulsion of a foreign citizen is obliged to assess the risks, can to him be subjected to torture, other forms of violence.
