The State Inspectorate for Real Estate in Moscow in the first half of 2022 eliminated more than 60 illegal buildings in the center of the capital. This was reported by the press service of the department.
“In the first six months of 2022, the State Inspectorate for Real Estate, which is part of the complex of economic policy and property and land relations of the capital, surveyed more than 2 thousand real estate objects in the Central Administrative District and liquidated more than 60 illegal buildings,” the report says.
It is clarified that the main task of control measures is the suppression and prevention of violations in the property and land sphere. “According to the results of inspections on the territory of the Central District, 272 self-built buildings with a total area of 88 thousand square meters were identified, which is 20.2% less than in the same period last year. Today there are 63 objects with an area of 3.6 thousand. it has already been liquidated, the remaining buildings are in the process of preparation for dismantling. Four facts of unauthorized construction at the initial stage were also suppressed,” the words of the head of the capital’s State Inspectorate for Real Estate Ivan Bobrov are quoted in the message.
The press service added that during the reporting period, 389 violations of land legislation were detected in the Central Administrative District of the capital, 41 of them were eliminated, work continues on others.
“The main violations are the use of a land plot without registered land and legal relations (17%) and the misuse of a land plot – they account for 35% of violations,” Bobrov said.
As explained in the department, in January-June 2022, work was carried out on the appeals of citizens. Thus, the chatbot “Free Access” received 61 appeals from residents of the CAO, 18 facts of unauthorized restriction of access to the public area were confirmed. Parking limiters, chains, poles, concrete flowerbeds, barriers and fences were installed illegally. 15 violations have already been eliminated, the rest are in the works.
Also, since the beginning of the summer cafe season, 112 violations have been detected in the placement of summer verandas on the territory of the CAO, of which more than 98 percent of violations have already been eliminated.
