Children who must stay home due to the shutdown, are experiencing more violence and abuse, says the Danish Youth Red Cross.
the Red Cross Youth have been a rising number of inquiries from children who are experiencing violence and abuse in the home, since the government a month’s time ago closed large parts of the country down and asked people to stay more at home.

Usually, inquiries about violence and abuse in the six to seven percent of the things that children and young people will talk with Red Cross Youth on.

– There are quite a few children, is calling on the corona and the complexity they are experiencing, when they already are vulnerable. It can be children who are exposed to physical abuse or psychological pressure, she says.
Vulnerable children, who before sought away from home, now have a harder time to get away from home, in the same way it sounds.
In virtue of the children spend more time in the home, they are also more vulnerable, if they have violent parents, or parents who abuse them.
