the Agreement on mutual exchange of geospatial information between the armed forces of the Union state ratified on 21 may, the lower house of the Belarusian Parliament. A document in the oval hall, BelTA reports were presented by the Minister of defense of Belarus Viktor Henin.
According to the head of the military Department, the agreement is intended to increase the efficiency of survey and navigation support of regional forces group of Belarus and Russia in joint activities of operational training. The parties will also work together to create databases of geospatial information.
in addition, according to the Minister, ratification will allow topographic services “to increase the efficiency of support of the armed forces means survey information for the area of responsibility of the regional grouping, to unify technology and normative-technical documentation, reduce costs and enhance the capabilities of the two countries to establish a geospatial information”.
This agreement, reminds Agency, was signed in the Russian capital on 25 October 2019.
