Michelle Kristensen’s refrigerator is stuffed with vegetables, and weekly plan strutter of physical activity.
But when it comes to regular sleep, she has a little harder to follow its own advice – despite the fact that she knows all too well what too few hours in dreamland can lead to.
How do you give yourself the best start to the day?
“I’m starting to vinterbade and make it virtually every morning.
“not anything to jump into a sauna first. I live in Copenhagen K, and is fortunate to have the map for the water.”
“So I go 800 meters, jump in the cold water, and then go home and have breakfast and a good cup of coffee. The start of the morning can make me really happy.”
What habit would you like to change?
“I’d like to, I was more nazi with my sleep.”
“That I every night lay in my bed at last. 22.30 and read a book.”
“sometimes I’m good at doing it, but there are also many times when the bell closer to becoming 24.00, before I sleep, unfortunately.”
How do you keep yourself in shape?
“I train 5-6 times a week, where I runs four times, and in addition, the strength coach I am.”
“I also go to reform training in the Powerhouse – and if I am really good, I get also pressure a yoga class in the course of the week.”
What you always have in your refrigerator?
“My refrigerator is often filled well up, for I love to cook!”
“You always find cabbage, broccoli, red bell pepper, avocado, salmon, spinach, cheese, peanut butter, bananas, hummus, butter – and then, of course, skyr, eggs and fiberhusk.”
“So can I make skyrboller, which is a recipe I invented a year ago, and which has become very popular out in the homes of the world and of myself.”
Your best advice for a healthy life?
“Sleep is the alpha and the omega for both the body and brain can function optimally. If you do not sleep enough, you are also more hungry, makes it harder to say no thank you to sweets, and you increase the risk of stress. So first and foremost comes the sleep, and then we can start to talk about the vegetables, the stable blood sugar levels, and the training then.”
Sundhedstip?
“I find lots of inspiration on Pinterest when I need ideas for new recipes. It is a very inspirational medium.”
