The Outaouais Film Festival will dedicate its 24th festival to Michel Côté who passed away today.
“The festival immediately set up a special event to mark the death of Michel, we dedicate this edition to him and will screen on this occasion C. R. A. Z. Y. by Jean-Marc Vallée, in the presence of Pierre Even, the producer of this magnificent film,” said Monday Didier Farré, founder and general manager of the festival.
In the past, the event has selected numerous films starring the popular actor, including Éric Tessier’s On the Threshold, Jean-Marc Vallée’s C. R. A. Z. Y., The Last Tunnel, Life After Love, as well as Piché: between heaven and earth. Michel Côté was also president of the 22nd edition of the festival, in 2020, which was canceled because of the pandemic, five days before the opening.
C. R. A. Z. Y. will screen at Cinéma 9 in Gatineau on Sunday, June 4 at 4 p.m. The FFO is held from June 1 to 9.
