a Day earlier, it was reported that Moscow mayor Sergei Sobyanin held a conference call meeting of the working group of the state Council on combating the spread of coronavirus. As the press service of the mayor and Moscow government, discussed, in particular, the introduction of mask mode in public places, as well as expanding sales of protective masks. The meeting was attended by heads of Federal Executive authorities and senior officials of constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
Mask mode already introduced in some regions. Somewhere it acts as a recommendation, whereas, for example, in the Sverdlovsk and Penza regions, the wearing of masks became mandatory. Now this mode I want to enter other regions.
Earlier, the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova upheld the decision of regional authorities to enter mask mode. In her opinion, this is the right step in the current situation.
