Unknown people are said to have given a homeless man (50) so much vodka in the old town of Düsseldorf that he was in mortal danger.
According to dpa information, the man had around 5 per mille when he was resuscitated by rescue workers.
As the police announced on Wednesday, the man was found last Tuesday evening. There were indications that “several people had previously crowded closely around the homeless man and apparently gave him alcohol from a bottle,” according to the police. The condition of the 50-year-old is still critical.
The criminal police are investigating on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm and are looking for witnesses.
