If protesting citizens of Belarus will take to the streets, the government will resist, but if they go “to ache” – answer, said the President of the Republic Alexander Lukashenko.
He urged the protesters not to provoke law enforcers.
“To provocations will respond appropriately,” – the words Lukashenko, RIA “Novosti”.
The President assured the citizens that will not hurt their children, but the country will not give it. In particular, Lukashenko said that it has rigidity. According to him, if there was no violence, there would be Belarus. “I’m not a Saint,” said he.
During address to employees of the Minsk plant of wheeled transport (MWTP) the President stated that they protest not to its knees, reports TASS. Lukashenka added that work is already underway on the third version of the Constitution.
“the Constitution of a new need. The two options I suggested. I rejected them because they differ little from this. Is the third option. Come, sit and working on the Constitution,” he said.
Monday, August 17, Lukashenko has arrived in Minsk wheel tractor plant. Moreover, workers of this enterprise was not going to hold a meeting.
