President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has declared that will not allow “light a fire” in the center of Minsk on 9-10 August.
According to him, some “people continue to call for independence.”
“God forbid we light a bonfire in the center of Minsk, and we will scatter the embers around Minsk. We cannot and will not allow it,” Lukashenka is quoted by the edition of the publication “Coll.Belarus today”.
Earlier, he told about coming to him that the country “do not want peace to hold presidential elections” and requested to provide security in the areas.
Elections to the Belarusian leader will be held on 9 August. The CEC registered five candidates for the presidency.
