President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has arrived in the Chernobyl zone, where he will participate in the works on the territory of national Park Pripyatski.
As informs “Interfax-West”, the head of Belarus is traditionally in late April to visit areas affected by the Chernobyl accident. This year the trip coincided with the holding of the Republican subbotnik.
Lukashenka will work on planting trees in the agro-town of Lyaskovichi of the Petrikov district.
Earlier in the discussion of the draft decree “On forestry and wood selling” the Belarusian President urged officials to treat the forest with respect.
