Belarus is not going to run away from Russia, however, wants to be treated like human beings. With such statement the President of the Republic Alexander Lukashenko spoke at a solemn meeting on the occasion of independence Day. According to Lukashenko, he understands “brothers-Russians”, who are afraid of losing the Belarusians, the Agency “BelTA”.
The President stressed that the Belarusians do not want them to “urge West”. Thus he commented on the statement of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of France. It described the detention of the applicants for the post of President of Belarus as a violation of international obligations. In Paris called on Minsk to ensure citizens the freedom to Express their views on the demonstrations.
In response, Lukashenka reminded that in France are still ongoing performances of “yellow jackets.” According to the President, in a competitive confrontation, the citizens of Belarus need to survive, not creating problems for ourselves. He expects that by the end of this year, the Republic out of the path of development followed always.
