Borussia Dortmund apparently has a Stuttgart player in their sights when looking for a new full-back. In order to be able to pay the necessary transfer fee, a defensive player would have to be sold.
BVB is looking for a left-back: Borussia Dortmund wants to strengthen the full-back positions for the coming season and is looking for new players, especially on the left. So far, the Westphalians have not been able to announce any newcomers there. Previous candidates: Gladbach’s Ramy Bensebaini (27), Hoffenheim’s David Raum (24) and Ian Maatsen (20) from Chelsea.
Stuttgarter in sight: According to information from “Bild”, Borna Sosa from VfB Stuttgart should now also be on the radar of Dortmund’s sports director Sebastian Kehl. The 24-year-old Croatian has been playing for Swabia since 2018 (contract until 2025) and is also linked with Chelsea, Juventus and Barcelona.
Transfer fee probably a decisive factor: Sosa should be available for 25 million euros thanks to an exit clause. However, in order to be able to pay this sum, BVB would probably have to sell players like Nico Schulz (29) or Raphaël Guerreiro (28).
