Two years ago, in 2018, the security service of Ukraine banned entry to the Russian rapper Alexei Usenko known as LJ, on the territory of the country for three years.
The musician appealed to court against this decision. And there was information that it was cancelled.
The district administrative court of Kiev cancelled the decision of the SBU, reports RIA Novosti with reference to the court’s website.
“to Recognize illegal actions of the security Service of Ukraine on preparation of information about the presence of grounds for a ruling of 27 November 2018 on a ban of entrance to Ukraine to the citizen of the Russian Federation for a period of 3 years. To recognize illegal and to cancel the decision of the security Service banning entry to Ukraine to the citizen of the Russian Federation for a period of 3 years.”
The head of law firm, which defended the interests of the artist in court, Eugene Pronin, announced on instagram that in order to make LJ in the “black list”, the security service took 2 days, and the justice he sought for a year.
“I Hasten to warn, the cancellation did not occur in connection with the change in the political climate in the country, and due to the fact that LJ did not violate the legislation of Ukraine”, – said Pronin.
Indeed, the rapper was falsely accused of having performed concerts in the Crimea. As evidence of the SBU put up a video, without bothering to check that it was a concert, held in a different place.
