The Lithuanian Parliament at the plenary session adopted a resolution criticizing Russia in connection with the divergent views on the historical past. The relevant document at the plenary session deputies supported unanimously.
Specifies that the document contains allegations that Russia allegedly rewrites the history of the Second world war. Russia has repeatedly stressed that the Baltic States have consistently pursued a line on reviewing the results of the Second world war, downplaying or denying the role of Soviet soldiers in liberating the world from Nazism.
