With sweet black and white photos, “The Lion’s Den” star Dagmar Wöhrl (68) commemorates the 21st anniversary of her son Emanuel’s death. He died in a domestic accident on July 1, 2001, when he was just 12 years old.
“Dear Manu, do you remember how much fun we had on our last vacation? How naturally I took the time together with you,” she addresses her child directly in her Instagram post. “Had I known that we would be separated so soon, I would have told you sooo much and I would have had your last kiss firmly imprinted,” she continues.
She continued, “I know you wouldn’t want me to think of you with sadness, but it’s so damn hard! Everything seemed so much lighter and happier in your presence. You made us perfect as a family. You miss. I hug you.” She closes her message with “Love – Mom.”
She also lets her feelings run free in the hashtags: “I miss you”, “My heart” and “Love never ends,” she writes.
Emanuel comes from Dagmar Wöhrl’s marriage (since 1984) to entrepreneur Hans Rudolf Wöhrl (74). The couple had two sons. Marcus was born in 1985, Emanuel in 1988.
There are also many celebrity mothers in the comments who left red hearts: Cathy Hummels (34), Judith Williams (50), Jenny Elvers (50) or Frauke Ludowig (58).
