The police have been searching for a missing eight-year-old child from Hagen in North Rhine-Westphalia since Saturday evening.
Mohamed, who is autistic, was last seen on Saturday at around 7:40 p.m. in a playground in downtown Hagen, the police said. He is 1.30 meters tall, of strong build and is wearing blue trousers, a dark brown sweater with white stripes and red-brown shoes.
The case is reminiscent of that of six-year-old Arian from Bremervörde-Elm in Lower Saxony, who has been missing since April 22nd. The last search for the child, who is also autistic, ended unsuccessfully on Thursday. The Arian case is special, but not an isolated case. In Germany, almost 10,000 people are missing.
