The Walls of Kindness are back, and in larger numbers, to collect winter coats for people experiencing homelessness.

For the second year in Montreal (four locations) and the first in Gatineau (one location), citizens are invited to hang up a warm coat.

Organized by Renaissance in partnership with Accueil Bonneau and Itinérance Zéro, the collection runs until November 26. At Renaissance stores, customers will be able to purchase a gift card and donate it in a box at checkout.

Given the scale of the needs, the organizers hope to collect 2,500 coats, more than double last year.
