Chairman of the state Council of the DPRK Kim Jong-UN sent a congratulatory telegram to President of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa. This was announced by the Central Telegraph Agency of Korea (KCNA). It is noted that a personal message from the leader of the DPRK were sent Monday on the occasion of the national holiday of South Africa.

The head of the people’s Republic in his congratulatory message wished the people of Africa "even greater successes in the work to promote national unity and achieve socio-economic development of the country".
The leader of North Korea has not appeared in public since April 11, when he held a meeting of the Politburo of the workers ‘ party of Korea on issues of domestic policy.
