ALMA-ATA may 4 — RIA Novosti. The Central election Commission (CEC) of Kazakhstan has stopped powers of the Deputy of the Senate (upper house) of the Parliament of Dariga Nazarbayeva, said press service of the Central election Commission.
Saturday press service of the President of Kazakhstan said that the head of state Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev signed a decree on termination of powers Nazarbayeva as a member of Senate. The reason for this decision has to date not made public. Later on Twitter Tokayev thanked Nazarbayev for the active and fruitful work in the position of President of the Senate.

According to the report, the powers of a Deputy of the Senate Nazarbayeva terminated in accordance with the Constitution, the law “On Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan and status of its deputies” on the basis of the presidential decree of 2 may 2020 n 315 “About Nazarbayeva D. N.”.
