The head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov has offered a new way to punish violators of isolation for coronavirus. He stated this at a meeting of the operational headquarters on coronavirus, reports RIA Novosti.
In his opinion, it is necessary to toughen sanctions for those who do not follow the principles for combating coronavirus. So, the head of the Republic recommended to withdraw machines “from those who just skate”, and send them to correctional work. “Let them sweep the streets, clean hospitals, work,” he said.
Kadyrov reminded that we are talking about a serious disease, and maintaining the isolation needed to return to “normal life”.
In late April, Kadyrov decided to soften the restrictions imposed in the Republic of coronavirus, and requested to consider the possibility of their gradual abolition. According to him, restrictive measures are justified as “decreased the aggressiveness of the virus.”
