The head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov said that the people of the region will be able to celebrate the end of the Muslim Holy month of Ramadan, if required to comply with the regime of self-isolation.

Ramadan in 2020 accounts for the period from 24 April to 23 may.

"Many are concerned about how we will celebrate the end of Ramadan. Answer: if we observe the last days of self-isolation as required, to celebrate with dignity", – Kadyrov wrote on Twitter.

Earlier, Kadyrov has extended restrictions on the coronavirus in Chechnya until may 11 and instructed to strengthen control over the movement.
