Nationwide day of voting on amendments to the Constitution should do weekends. This opinion was expressed to RIA Novosti Vice-speaker of the state Duma Olga Epifanova.
As reported by “the Rambler”, the vote on the amendments ended on July 1. The results of processing of hundred percent of the protocols, changes in the basic law approved 77.92 percent of Russians voted against 21.27 percent. The turnout was 65 percent.
“I am Sure that this day will be remembered by all who took part in the voting”, – said Yepifanov.
According to the Deputy from “Fair Russia”, before the Constitution Day was considered a festive day, and “would be nice” to continue this tradition and announce 1 of July weekend.
