“International flights can be opened only when the majority of the countries parties to all conventions and so on at the same time agree to resume these flights. If one country against or for two, and 10 – nothing will happen,” – said Ivanov.
“If all CIS countries, with whom we have a flight (with Georgia we have, for example, no flights by definition do and they are unlikely to resume in the near future), if those countries with which air service was before the pandemic, to agree to resume, then, of course, in the CIS we will fly in the first place”, – said the special representative of the President.
Ivanov also stressed the importance of epidemiological measures in the resumption of flights. “If the country has X disease coronavirus at a very low level and it is on the decline according to statistics, it means that this country is the priority for the resumption of international flights”, – he explained.
