Italian authorities drained the lake at the bottom of which the last 70 years is the medieval village Factory di Careggine. Want to restore to attract tourists.

Every time this event has become controversial and attracted the attention of a large number of people.
the Local government has plans to drain the lake and rebuild the village in 2015, but the real opportunity came only now. Energy company Enel, which owns the power plant and, consequently, the lake wailly, announced the intention to implement this project in 2021.
