I grew up with, that life must teach us something. There is a reason why we are here. And that we have a purpose in being here.
Some might say that it is nonsense, while others will argue that it is a more spiritual or spiritual approach to life.
But particularly during crises, it may be useful to see things a little from above and in a larger perspective. For just as personal life crises often come with a lesson or two, we can also try to see the global crises as opportunities for learning and with a purpose.
We are all bumped out of the hamsterhjulet and is now completely forpustede and don’t know where we should run. And therefore, we become troubled and insecure, we’re bored, more lonely, we are being pressured at home and frustrated when it here ends.
But we are also reminded of the things we quickly forget.
We have forgotten that we all are the same, regardless of what culture, religion or job we have. Anyone can become sick – whether one prays to one god or other, is just much.
We have forgotten that everything is connected. People, animals and nature. When we pollute a place on the globe, it will affect other places. And what happens in China, (literally) affect us here.
We can no more think narrowly and in ourselves and believe that other countries ‘ well-did not affect us in the long term. We stuck together and need to think more systemically.
We have forgotten how incredible our bodies are and to live in accordance with it. To give the healthy diet to live by, so our immune system can naturally fight various diseases and become stronger when it hits. Instead we fill us with forproduceret food and E-numbers and are surprised of the number of various diseases.
We have forgotten that our close relationships are the most important. To our eternal quest for success and recognition and the correct zip code does not matter, when one’s nearest are at risk and would not be able to survive being infected.
We have forgotten how materialistic we have become. We are not talking so much about the holes in the road, or about the hotel must be with three or five stars right now. That life can also be completely okay with a walk in the woods, a new håndsprit and a realization that one has had the same pair of pants in almost a week!
We have forgotten to be in touch with our family(life) – and for ourselves. For now we are forced to be at home and take a position to the family’s condition. If our relationships squeaked before, it will now be even clearer.
If the communication with the teenager could be challenging before, it will now be to quarrels. We can’t run away from home more and now have the opportunity to strengthen our homes and ourselves.
We have forgotten to keep our ego on a tight rein. That no matter how mighty we are as countries and nations with money, power, and nuclear weapons (none mentioned, none forgotten), so can be an invisible virus get the world to go in the stand.
And we have forgotten that we all the time have the option of either fear each other, to cherish ourselves, to fight each other or cooperate, help each other, to share our planet’s resources, to provide and to support each other, when there is a need for it.
About this virus end up being a historic downturn or a historical turning point, it may eventually show. I hope at the last.
