“Some say we are waiting for the results of the upcoming presidential elections in the United States. But we don’t expect anything. Iran ready to negotiate with the United States at any time after Washington announced the return to the implementation of international law, the provisions of the UN resolutions and their commitments under the Joint comprehensive plan of action,” said Rouhani in the Iranian television.
According to the head of the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Americans should recognize the fallacy of its approach to the Iranian nuclear program and to restore its participation in the format “5+1” international mediators.
“Our position is very simple – the US should obey the law, to apologize and compensate for the damage that they have caused the Iranian people to Iran and to pay compensation,” – said Rouhani.
Recall that the American President Donald trump in may 2018 announced the release of the SVPD and the restoration of the U.S. economic sanctions against Iran. The White house called the agreement with Iran “worst in history” and suggested to conclude with Tehran, “new enhanced agreement” on their own terms.
