Influencer Carol Guerreiro, a resident of Ji-Paraná, Rondônia, was a victim of harassment on Monday, July 10.
With over 24 thousand followers on social media, Carol detailed the incident on her platforms, generating a significant impact and solidarity. Several women came forward, reporting to have been harassed by the same man.
“I was a victim of sexual harassment at the supermarket. When I confronted the harasser, he threatened me, saying I didn’t know who I was dealing with. Until when will we, as women, suffer from situations like these? We need security and respect now!” Carol vented on her social media.
On Tuesday morning, July 11, Carol went to the police station to file a report. The police are investigating the case, aiming to ensure safety and justice for all the victims involved.
