it is early for Ukraine to get out of the quarantine because of the spread of coronavirus. This was stated by the Minister of health, Maxim Stepanov, UNIAN reports.
“Given the current record of disease, believe that talking about the release from quarantine is impractical. Of course, we are considering the options, consider the conditions under which this is possible in Ukraine, and I can confidently say that this is possible only when we will see a steady decline in the incidence of COVID-19” — he said, urging Ukrainians to celebrate Easter at home.
Stepanov promised that the release from quarantine will be “the most comfortable”, but only after the authorities will see that “there’s opportunity”, given the experience of other States.
He said that the increase in active cases compared to previous day increased by 11.2 percent. Received 392 reports of new confirmed cases of infection with coronavirus and 10 fatal outcomes in patients with COVID-19.
From 6 April in Ukraine, has tightened the quarantine, which was extended until April 24. In the country restricted the movement of people for time spent on the street, prohibited events. Ukrainians are obliged to be in public places in the PPE. For the lack of masks citizens can be brought to administrative responsibility.
