Autumn in the Moscow region could begin the second wave of the spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19. As reported TASS, said Minister of health of Moscow region Svetlana Strigankova.
Today, as reported by the “Rambler”, Strigankova took part in the meeting of the Moscow regional Duma. In the course of it she stated that the Moscow Ministry of health expects a second wave of the spread of coronavirus infection by September.
“Stored funds (individual protection. — Approx. ed.) and for future periods,” she said.
The Minister added that now in Moscow region there is no shortage of personal protective equipment — their stock is enough for more than a month.
Last week, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that, according to experts, the second wave of the spread of coronavirus infection in Russia is possible at the end of October — November.
In turn, yesterday, the Deputy Director of Scientific research Institute of vaccines and sera (NIIS) Mechnikov Nikolai Filatov suggested that in mid-June coronavirus infection will go dormant, and it is even difficult to find.
