Changes in the basic law, which previously approved the Russian Parliament, will come into force only if your choice do the citizens. However, due to the pandemic coronavirus nationwide vote, previously scheduled for 22 April, was postponed.
– to vote in absentia format, in my opinion, it is impossible not to question its results, – said Pavel Krasheninnikov told reporters. – We still need to have the confidence not only to the text of the amendments, but also to the voting process.
the MP called on to wait, when the situation stabiliziruemost. And only then will it be possible to come to the stations to vote. “All the procedures prescribed by law, necessary to carry out”, the MP said, quoted by the press service of the Committee.
He also noted the urgency and relevance of the proposed amendments in the current situation: theses that can seem abstract, “in the context of pandemic coronavirus has passed in real need”.
In the current difficult situation, according to the head of the Committee felt sharply, “how important is a stable legal rules on social assistance, affordable quality medicine, indexation of pensions and social benefits, important as state support of business and saving jobs.”
In the preparation of amendments, the members of the relevant working group, of course, could not predict how further developments with the spread of the coronavirus impact on various fields, added the head of the Committee. “But it is obvious that the amendments have already worked on passing, and, of course, need their legal adoption”, – said Pavel Krasheninnikov.
Now theses changes are being implemented: increasing the size of the hospital, will introduce measures which promote the conservation of employment, the MP reminded. The size of a hospital and unemployment benefits equal to minimum wage. “Providing affordable and quality medical care, state in a matter of weeks is building a new hospital and will convert the existing under treatment of patients with coronavirus infection – said Krasheninnikov. – Supporting business, reduced insurance premiums, introduced interest-free loans for the payment of wages, postponement of tax payments”.
This, according to him, it is necessary that such measures continued to work in the future, when the fight against the pandemic. It is important to help the citizens and legal entities to overcome the consequences of the crisis.
