"Such circumstances can largely be explained by the fact that the Republic of Altai became one of the first regions of Russia where it was suspended flights. Another factor is the sparse population of the territory," said the Deputy.
He stressed that the Republic Altai is primarily a tourist area, where the main influx of tourists is observed from may to September, but because of the threat of coronavirus here closed tourist sites to visitors to recreation centres, sanatoriums, which explains the decrease in contacts between people from other regions.
