a Group of senators introduced a bill that allows health workers in primary care and emergency doctors to obtain ownership of housing. The document published in the electronic database of the lower house of Parliament.
As the authors of the initiative, the law is submitted pursuant to the instructions of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
the document stipulates the right of the authorities of Federal, regional and municipal level “to decide on the transfer of ownership by way of privatization of service premises the medical staff of medical institutions providing primary health care and (or) emergency medical care, subject to specific project conditions.”
the Main condition – the health care provider will work in their organisation “within five years from the date of the privatization in favor of the service premises”.
the procedure for the transfer of housing in the property medics will be determined by the government of the Russian Federation.
“the adoption of the draft Federal law will contribute to addressing the shortage of personnel providing primary care, specialists and concentration of medical workers in large cities”, – stated in the explanatory note.
