Members of the scientific Council under the security Council of the Russian Federation called for tougher responsibility for public calls for the rehabilitation of Nazism, the attempts at justification, glorification of Nazi criminals and their accomplices. In an interview with “RG” and Russian news agencies said the assistant Secretary of the security Council Alexey Pavlov. According to him, those who have no genetic memory of the war, support the Ukrainian neo-Nazis, deliberately do not mention in their speeches, the Red Army liberated Auschwitz, and dozens of other concentration camps, gave the world not just Europe and the life of Europeans.
According to him, it is now impossible to hide that activity via the falsification of Russian history is purposefully and systematically carried under the supervision of the state authorities, special services of foreign States, involving different government agencies, NGOs, research institutions, historical and cultural centers, non-governmental organizations.
“They manage to openly accuse us that Russia is supposedly trying to revise the history of the world, demand to dismantle the Soviet coat of arms from the monument “mother Motherland” in Kiev in the framework of a campaign of de-communization, Communist symbols equating the Nazi regime, the demolition of monuments to Soviet soldiers-liberators”, – said the assistant Secretary of the Russian security Council.
At the same time, he stressed that the anniversary of the Victory over Nazism is all and a reminder of the necessity of consolidation of efforts of the international community on the basis of the principle of indivisibility of security, including in order to prevent a repetition of the disaster of the XX century, which became the Second world war.
meanwhile, according to Pavlov, the West does not stop trying to quarrel and to make enmity between the peoples who together shared the hardships and privations at the front and in the rear, regardless of those of them Russian, Georgian, Latvian, Uzbek, Tatar, Kazakh, and so on. “All fought against a common enemy, against the enemy of humanity,” he said.

Therefore, according to him, the scientific Council under the security Council of the Russian Federation recommended to actively publish in open access unknown and little-known archival todocuments like the pre-war period and the period of the great Patriotic war, especially the events, which are subjected to attempts of revision.
Also, the security Council called for the consolidation of scientific communities of Russia and CIS countries, the population and the territory which suffered most from the aggression during the great Patriotic war. Among the ways to counter the spread of lies about the history of Russia, experts of the security Council proposed to establish a nation-wide integrated system, in which the number of ministries and departments would be created divisions on counteraction of falsification of history. The security Council also recalled the importance of conducting active military-Patriotic work with the younger generation in educational institutions, summer camps, youth forums.
“Oblivion native Russian ideals, spirituality, and the lack of decent attitude to historical memory have been and remain threats to Russia’s national security. This was explicitly stated in the national security Strategy of the Russian Federation until 2020”, – said Pavlov.
Also, as reported by columnist “RG” in the apparatus of the security Council, in anticipation of the 75th anniversary of the victory of the members of the scientific Council held a meeting by ballot, and studied the problems of formation of the Russian and foreign audience of scientifically based views on the historical truth about the great Patriotic war. A number of studies devoted to the work of the security organs to ensure the internal security of the country during the war.
it is Planned that the prepared materials will be published in several scientific publications and used in the development of additional measures aimed at ensuring national security, counteraction to attempts of falsification of history. In the composition of the scientific Council of the security Council, which was formed by the decree of the President of Russia, is 154 the representative of the state of academic science, heads and representatives of scientific organizations and individual scientists and experts.
