St. PETERSBURG, 30 Jul – RIA Novosti. Pskov regional Assembly of deputies on Thursday adopted the law on foster families for the elderly and persons with disabilities, the press service of the regional government.
“According to the law, in foster care can be adopted capable lonely or lonely citizens of advanced age (women 55 years, men 60 years and older) eligible for insurance old-age pension. Count on long-term care disabled people deemed in need of social services”, – stated in the message.
it is Assumed that the creation of the foster family will be on a contractual basis stating the place of residence of the ward and the conditions of life he provided. It also determines the mechanism of control over execution of such contracts.
the inhabitants of Pskov region, who will assume responsibility for the organization of foster families for the elderly and disabled, will receive for these services are approximately 5.6 thousand rubles per month (50% of the subsistence minimum established in the region).
“In 2020 it is planned to organize one foster family in ten municipalities of the region. The annual cost of their monetary reward will be more than 870 thousand rubles”, – informed the authorities of the Pskov region.
As noted by the regional administration, the law adopted in the framework of the pilot project on introduction of system of long-term care for the elderly and persons with disabilities, which is implemented in six regions of the Russian Federation.
