The perpetrator is said to have approached the eight-year-old on Monday after she crossed a schoolyard and performed sexual acts on her, the police said. The girl was able to run away as a result, and the suspect fled in an unknown direction. The child confided in adults who informed the police. In both cases, the children described the suspect as a man between 20 and 30 years old with brown hair who was wearing short brown or beige cargo pants and a gray rain jacket. He is said to have been carrying a red backpack at least in the second incident. In the first incident in the schoolyard, the man is said to have been pushing a bicycle, about which no further information is available yet.
