Data of participants of online voting for amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation are subject to verification, fraud is excluded. This was stated on Wednesday in the Territorial electoral Commission remote electronic voting (TICK deg).
"All records submitted for electronic voting, are multi-level verification in various databases. Such reconciliation was initiated by the Public staff and conducted by the territorial electoral Commission remote electronic voting, in order to prevent fraud, and possibilities for double voting and other incidents", – said the Commission.
The spokesman added that all the accounts of the citizens who submitted the application for participation in the deg were further retested by three stages. First, users have received the verification SMS, then the analysis was carried out sim-card activity in the last five days. After that, the Public staff performed a sample of telephone calls of users submitted the application for participation in electronic voting.
"After the start of voting on 26 June, additional reconciliation was performed daily in manual mode in all election commissions. To date, such a reconciliation were more than 1.05 million offices users. As a result, about 2 thousand identified questionable entries were subjected to further testing. Currently there are 284 dubious records that are suspect in the clean user data" – said the Commission.
Attempts to vote twice
"Earlier in the web reappeared information about the opportunity to vote electronically for another person in the presence of the attacker personal data and sim card. The establishment of such accounts, by itself, is equivalent to the creation of false documents is a criminal offence. Also, electronic voting was not enough just to have an office. It was also necessary to pass an initial multi-level inspection, which included the mapping of user data with SAS Elections, Federal information databases of the FIU and the Ministry of interior, transaction analysis and use of the personal account during the year" – said the Commission.
The public headquarters for the observation and monitoring of the national vote in the capital has asked the Moscow election Committee to conduct the final reconciliation lists after the end of e-voting. After its completion, in the election commissions will be given lists of voters to make sure they are all removed from lists to receive newsletters.
"the Territorial election Commission on electronic voting again declares that despite attempts to cheat the electronic voting system all evidence found will be carefullybut disassembled and, if necessary, excluded from the ballot, as happened throughout the course of remote voting", – concluded the Commission.
