Traditionally at the end of April in Moscow are beginning to work about 600 of the city’s fountains, but this year because of the pandemic coronavirus infection their start delayed, said Monday the Deputy mayor for housing and Peter Biryukov.
“Traditionally, at the end of April we are holding the launch of fountains in Moscow, it is a great holiday, at the same time begin to work about 600 urban fountains. But this year due to the difficult epidemiological situation in the city decided to postpone the start of the season of fountains”, – said Biryukov.
According to him, specialists of the urban center has already prepared the fountains to the opening.
“we work hard every fountain gently reactivated after a winter spent assembling and checking the equipment, sandblast cleaning, rinsing and, if necessary, painting,” – said Biryukov.
He said that the launch of the fountains will hold based on the current situation.
